Required Before You Hire
Do I have to book or reserve equipment?
Equipment must be booked, through our website for new customers, or over the phone if you are a regular, in advance of you coming into store. This is a simple process that will take you 2 minutes to complete and will ensure your equipment is ready and available for you when you come into us.
Do I need to leave a deposit?
Like all hire companies, we take a deposit on every hire. This is a buffer to cover should you need to extend your hire period. The deposit is refunded, less any additional charges, once you return the equipment. We are a cashless company, all payments are taken through a payment link. Please ensure you have paid this link before coming into store.
Do I need identification?
When booking an item, you will be shown where to upload your ID and exactly what forms of ID we do and do not accept.
Photo ID can be:
- A valid passport
- A current Irish driving licence
Proof of address can be:
- A current utility bill (such as a gas or electricity)
- A current bank statement
- A current credit card statement
A drivers license is not a proof of address.
We will book the equipment out to the person signing the contract. You cannot hire on behalf of someone else
Is there a delivery / collection charge?
Rates for delivery and collection vary with distance and will be quoted when you place your reservation. Deliveries are normally made Monday morning to Saturday midday. Transport planning is based on a delivery projection within a two-hour time window.
Do I need to call for collection?
We will not assume you are finished with an item until you call, or email us, to let us know it is ready for collection. When booking, you may give us an estimated hire end date but we will not use this date to assume you are finished. If you do not contact us to arrange collection, the items will remain on hire and chargeable until such time as you do contact us.
What is my responsibility for equipment return?
Security of equipment remains your responsibility until returned or collected by us.
What happens if something is damaged, broken or missing?
We do charge for broken or damaged equipment. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from vandalism or loss.
Do I have to clean the equipment before I return it?
A cleaning charge will be levied if equipment is returned dirty
